Mary Alice specializes in working with children, their families, and adults. She  currently

splits her time between the Therapeutic and Wellness Solution Center and Rady Children’s

Hospital where she conducts emergency room mental health evaluations. Mary Alice

has worked in a variety of therapeutic settings to assist the wellbeing of children, including

but not limited to, residential services, WRAP services, Child Welfare Services, Escondido

Union School District, and community-based programs over the past 8 years. Mary Alice also

works a great deal with adults to reduce levels of depression, anxiety, and self harm while creating long term goals for individual success. 

 

Mary Alice is local to San Diego and completed her Bachelors at San Diego State University and her Masters at California State University, San Marcos. Mary Alice is EMDR trained through the EMDRHAP and is working toward her EMDR certification. 

 

Mary Alice uses a bend of play-based therapy, trauma informed practices, and solution focused therapy to assist each child, adult, and family that she works with to reach their overall goals. She believes in truly getting to know each of her clients on an individual level to foster feelings of trust and safety in session.
