Jessie Hiatt,
Licensed Marriage &Family Therapist

Jessie Hiatt is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received her masters

from Argosy University. Jessie has gained a great deal of experience as a clinical

supervisor working with high conflict family systems and relationships. Jessie began

working in private practice in 2019 after nearly 6 years of working in acute treatment

settings. 

Jessie utilizes blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused approaches to work with her clients on understanding where the source of their conflict resides while teaching them the tools on how to overcome each challenge. Jessie is a trained EMDR provider and utilizes this approach to assist her clients in processing complex trauma as well as reducing levels of anxiety and depression. 

Jessie has led WRAP and TBS teams to successfully stabilized high conflict families that were at the point of dissolve or considering placing a family member in long term care due to behavioral difficulties. In addition to this, she has a great deal of experience working with the court system, for not only high conflict divorces but also court ordered therapy.

​Jessie has specialized training is substance abuse and recovery treatment that she gained through her time as a psychotherapist in an inpatient detox and recovery center. Due to this, Jessie is well equipped to assist clients with the cycles and challenges that are held in addiction and sobriety. Jessie works to create individualized plans to help her clients maintain sobriety and success with not only individual treatment but also through the involvement of their partners and family members. 

Jessie is highly trained in educating families on the public school system, including how to navigate Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), 504 Plans, and parent / teacher communication to ensure that her clients receive the best education possible. 

​Due to Jessie’s experience and training she has high levels of success working with adolescents and teens that were previously resistant to therapy. As well as individuals and couples working to achieve their overall goals, by increasing communication, teaching new skills, and reconnecting on an intimate level. Jessie is an ally and provides supportive and accepting therapy for the LGBT community.
