Marsi Walker is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist that specializes

in working with children and adolescents. She received a Bachelor of Arts in

Communications/Public Relations from Brigham Young University and a Master

of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from the California School of

Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. Beyond her

academic achievements, Marsi brings a wealth of experience as a dedicated

teacher in elementary schools and church, a committed community volunteer,

and an organizer of events and spiritual retreats for diverse age groups.

Marsi takes a holistic approach when working with clients and conceptualizes through

an attachment lens, employing collaborative, mindfulness, and strength-based methodologies, integrating Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and solution-focused therapies. Trained in TF-CBT, ACT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and soon EMDR. She specializes in healing generational patterns, childhood traumas, and guiding clients through life transitions. Marsi is passionate about working with kids, teens, young adults, and women of all ages, she offers a secular or Christian / faith-based therapeutic approach.

 

Marsi draws on her years of experience in community mental health agencies and as a school site therapist. She believes in walking with clients on their unique journeys to self-healing and interpersonal growth, embracing Maya Angelou's wisdom: “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”

Beyond her professional endeavors, Marsi enjoys the beach, hiking, hot fudge sundaes, and traveling, cherishing moments with family and friends.
