Prof Picture.jpg

Kirra is a compassionate and collaborative therapist who offers strengths-based,

trauma-informed care tailored to the unique needs of every client. With a deep

commitment to creating a supportive and empowering therapeutic space, Kirra draws

from a person-centered and humanistic perspective, ensuring each client feels seen,

heard, and respected.

Kirra specializes in working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, meeting clients wherever they are in their journey of change. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Collaborative Therapy. Every therapeutic relationship is guided by the client’s individual strengths, goals, and preferences, and may incorporate other modalities as needed to support personal growth and healing.

Having grown up across multiple states in the U.S. as well as overseas in Japan and Guam due to her parent’s military service, Kirra brings a rich multicultural perspective to her work. She values diversity, authenticity, and connection—encouraging clients to develop a deeper relationship with self to better navigate, function within, and potentially shift the relational systems that shape their lives.

Kirra is passionate about providing culturally-sensitive and affirming care, especially in work with multiethnic, neurodivergent, and LGBTQ+ individuals. She is trained and experienced in supporting those managing anxiety, depression, grief, identity development, life transitions, trauma, suicidality, and self-harm.

In her work with couples and families, Kirra emphasizes the importance of building empathy, improving communication, and resolving conflict. She is particularly interested in exploring intergenerational patterns that influence relational dynamics, and works collaboratively with families to improve connection and overall well-being.
